The Evil King aprocheas

Prelog
When the griefers came they burned the town to the ground. They killed many people including Jake’s Mom and Dad. Only two survivors were left, Jake and Natasha. They were brother and sister. They wandered for weeks without running into anyone but finally the saw a village on the horizon. They were filled with Joy. They stopped and rested for the night. The next day they took the journey to the village. The Village was called Emerald Cove.

Chapter 1

Jake: “Whew we finally made it Natasha.”
Natasha: “Yes, we did it!”
Jake: “I hope these villagers will take two orphan children like us.”
Natasha: “I bet they will.”
Narrator: They knocked on the front door.
Bob: *opens door* “Well hello children!”
Jake: “We are orphans.”
Natasha: “Yes we are. Some griefers burned down our village and everyone died except us. Will you take care of us?”
Bob: “Why yes of course. I will check with my wife, Margret.”
Bob: *Yells to Margret* (who happens to be the town Mayor)
Margret: “What?”
Bob: “There are some orphans at the town door.”
Margret: “Let them in.”
Bob: “Okay. Can we keep them as our children?”
Margret: “Yes, I’ve always wanted kids.”
Jake: “Thank you Ma’am.”
Natasha: “I’m starving.”
Margret: “Well then let’s eat.”
Jake and Natasha: “YAY!”
Bob: “Okay.”
Narrator: Margret brought out really tasty chicken with white rice.
Jake: “Yummy. This is delicious!”
Natasha: “Yes it really is. Thank you.”
Margret: “Okay there are some rules in this house.”
Jake: “What are they?”
Margret: “Bed time is 9:00, you go to school and do your homework, and you clean the dishes after dinner and breakfast.”
Natasha: “That’s what we usually did when we were back in Eternal Spring.”
Bob: “Why why look at the time it’s already 10:30.” (“Why would you look at the time. It’s already 10:30.”)
Margret: “Time for you two to go to bed.”
Jake: “Okay.”
Natasha: “Can I take a bath?”
Margret: “Yes you can.”
Jake: “Can I as well?”
Margret: “Yes. Natasha, go to my room and take a bath there. Jake you can go to the guest room and take a bath there. Natasha and Jake are you fine sleeping in the same room?”
Jake: “Yes.”
Margret: “Okay you will be sleeping in the guest room.”
Narrator: The kids go to bed while Bob and Margret stay up talking.
Margret: “I hope they’re good children.”
Bob: “Me too.”
Margret: I want to see were Eternal Springs is on the map.”
Narrator: Bob goes and finds a map.
Bob: “Here’s a map.”
Margret: “I found Eternal Springs.”
Bob: “Wow! That’s 124 miles from there to here.”
Margret: “They must’ve been really hungry and tired.”
Bob: “Let’s let them sleep late tomorrow.”
Narrator: Bob and Margret go to sleep.
