This is something ive noticed: I dont have java on my computer and I can still run minecraft. I know I dont have java because when I try to code my modes the java code is erased and forge/other stuff wont install it says needed java. Just a weird bug?

This is because a form of Java (not normal I guess) is downloaded with minecraft

Mojang updated the launcher so it wouldnt need Java.

Thats because forge is not created/endorsed by Mojang. They are their own company, and they use different programming tactics than Mojang does with their new launcher, obviously Java programming.

Guys, the newest versions of Minecraft does not need Java. Starting from 1.8.3 or somewhere around there.

Thats what I said originally it doesnt need java because the launcher comes with its own form of Java that only works with minecraft
