Random Pokemon facts.

Heres some Pokémon facts. I got bored.
1. Pokémon is short for "Pocket Monsters."
2 Pokémon is the number 2 best selling game. Mario being first.
3. In the Pokémon manga, Ashs original Pokémon companion was Cleafairy. It was changed to Pikachu because, as the producers said, "its cuter and more yellow." 100% more yellow.
4. Ash is still ten after all these games. Hes been a ten year old for like 15 years. . . . .
5. The original voice actor for Ash also voiced his mom. The original voice actors for Misty & Brock was the voice actors Jessie & James.
6. All of the early games include unused data for battling Prof. Oak. He can be battled with a glitch, but hes stronger than he looks. He could be mistaken for a champion. In fact, hes much stronger then the champions.
7. Girafairgs name is the same front and back. So is its org. design.
8. Game developers where going to make a mega Flygon in X & Y.
9. Pokémons card game was banned in Saudi Arabia for a while because it "encouraged gambling."
10. In the first games, theres a glitch you can do to get Mew.
11. This was actually snuck in by a game developer, Mew. Mew was snuck in, so they decided to make it a joke to the developers. But then everyone found out about Mew so now Mews a legit Pokémon.
12. Rhydon was the first Pokémon created, even before it was called Pokémon!
13. Arcanine was org. supposed to be Moltres, the legendary fire bird. So Arcanine was supposed to be a legendary.
14. No two Spinda are the same. The developers made over 4 billion spot patterns. Talk about time...
15. The infamously pointless time-wasting move "splash" is a mistranslation. Its actually hop, which is why water isnt splashed.
16. The word "eeveeloutions" was fan made, but the creators like it so now its the term for the eevee family.
17. In the original Pokémon rap, Mew was left out.
