CubeBuilders Arising (Part 6 - Surprise!)

Sparkles and the clan of survivors had succeeded in building a wonderful new home, just beyond the mountains. K0RBEK reluctantly volunteered, but was still a bit suspicious of them, no matter the case. Sparkles reassured him that they were no danger. But he never really believed her. He had a bad feeling growing in his gut.

One day, Sparkles was out fishing. She was particularly care-free that day. K0RBEK was back home, tending to the crops. Waffle came from behind the newly-constructed lookout tower, pulling some logs behind him with ropes. Sparkles smiled, and waved to him. Waffle waved back, continuing to pull, straining himself too much, tripping and falling down a slope into the cold lake. Sparkles gasped and dropped her rod, running to where he fell in.

"Waffle! Waffle, where are you?" She called. Waffle surfaced, gasping for breath, then shaking his head around, trying to get the water out of his drenched hair. Sparkles shouted in surprise, being soaked with the water he shook off.

"Mother of Notch, thats cold!" Waffle exclaimed, his eyes wide with shock. Sparkles looked at him the same way in response. "Well, no duh!" She responded. Waffle hesitated before he spoke.

"Mind helping me out?" He asked, chuckling a bit. Sparkles moved the wet hair away from her eyes and held her hand out to him. Waffle grabbed it, then forcefully pulled her in with him. Sparkles screamed before she went underwater, the cold substance drenching her in the blink of an eye. Army and Play heard her scream, and rushed to the lake.

"Sparkles?!" They yelled. Army went down the slope to the lake and looked into the water. But as he did, Sparkles and Waffle surfaced, drenching him. "Gahh!" Army shouted at the feeling of the cold water hitting him. As Play gasped, they heard something. Laughter.

Sparkles was laughing. Harder than Waffle, actually. Both of them were laughing. "Wow, Waffle. You got me." Sparkles said, wiping a tear from her eye. Waffle threw up his arm in victory, then pulling himself and Sparkles to shore.

But suddenly, the pounding of horseshoes came into the village. Kor was galloping in on his trusty steed, Nightshade. He looked quite spooked. He came to a halt by the slope. "Sparkles! Weve got company!" He called.

Sparkles squeezed the water out of her hair. "Who do you mean by that?" Sparkles asked. But, as soon as she said that, a few more horses came into the village, stopping a little ways behind Kor. The horses looked well-groomed and heavily armoured. The riders; regal, strong, intelligent, and high-class. They wore no helmets, but capes attached to their armour flew in the breeze so majestically. The villagers gasped, and quickly got on their knees, their heads down. All except Sparkles, that is.

The leader of the group came down, his armour shining in the sunlight. Made from the finest of diamonds, Sparkles could even find some gold and emeralds decorating the armour here and there. A golden, jewel-decorated crown sat atop the leaders mane of black, fine hair, resting over his redstone-red eyes. Who was this regal man?

"Young lady. Why are you not kneeling?" The regal man asked her. Sparkles tilted her head. "Why should I kneel? I have no reason to kneel. What point would there be? But more importantly, who are you?" The man gave a look of disgust to her. He didnt like the fact that she wasnt kneeling to his very form. But nevertheless, with his power, he must embrace it.

"I, young girl, am Prince Pray4Death, the Prince of Factionaria."

Oo to be continued cant wait till part seven loving these Sparkles keep it up :P
