In my personal opinion about PvP for 1.9 is going to bring more flexibility and hopefully implementing a combat balance. The only reason why I dont like Minecraft PvP, is because people keep using enderpeals; and yes several members has suggested a cooldown on enderpeals.
But here is the issue, whats the point of you going to fight, if your going to keep running around and spamming enderpeals. Honestly, I would say that potion and food ticks should be lowered. Now people think that it will make things OP; no is not going to OP, it is going to bring more tactics and flexibility towards combat. Most of RPG/MMO and FPS tends to have an "instant heal" or "instant gain effect".
Back to your question, and enough giberish. Would PvP be harder in 1.9?
